Let’s Get Going With Sarah & Abraham

Vacation Bible Camp was a great success with a record number of children participating.  Thank you to all the volunteers and the many donations of food and supplies.  Water day, scavanger hunt, and music were all part of the busy week long event.

Sunday School Club

Both parishes offer Sunday School on a regular basis, and once again we are using “The Best of The Whole People of God” series. The children going with loved ones at the beginning of the service and after a short children’s focus they are led to their respective classes, where they have Children’s Church. Children’s Church follows the format and readings that the rest of the church family listens to and responds to, even the children’s tiny altar is set up in a similar fashion. Crafts, story-telling, and drama are all part of Children’s Church. The join the rest of the church family in the sanctuary for the Great Thanksgiving and all children are seen as important participants in God’s Church and worship.

Baptismal Celebrations

Baptism is considered the entrance rite of the church in which we recognize and celebrate God’s ‘Yes!’ to us as unique individuals. Children and adults are welcome to inquirer about baptism with the parish priest or other baptized Christians in the church. Both congregations have celebrated recent baptisms and we welcome, Jake, Oscar, Malena, and soon MacKenzie into the Christian family.
